The Treatment
Plasma can be described as a lightning bolt. When lightning strikes the ground, it vaporizes everything and leaves behind black carbon. On the skin, plasma vaporizes cells, leaving only carbon in the form of a crust. This crust then heals, revealing the treated skin underneath. In addition to vaporizing — or sublimating — unwanted skin, it has a triple effect: tightening the remaining tissue, stimulating collagen production, and rejuvenating the skin.
After a PlexR Treatment
The treated area may show inflammation. Before you leave, a soothing gel and sunscreen are applied to the treated zones. We will follow up with you the next day to make sure everything is progressing well. Swelling of the face and/or eyes is common and typically begins to subside on the third day after treatment.
