What Is Non-Surgical Eye Blepharoplasty With PlexR?

PlexR Plus is a non-surgical treatment used to lift the eyes (blepharoplasty), treating skin laxity. It is also used to improve scars, treats moles, skin tags and other unwanted superficial skin lesions. Unlike surgical treatments for these problems, PlexR Plus does not require general anesthesia.

The treatment uses plasma – the fourth state of matter after solid, liquid and gas – and is carried out using portable wireless devices manufactured in Italy. The PlexR Plus soft surgery device has been used and licensed in several countries over the past 10 years. This is the first fully licensed plasma technology to be introduced in Canada.

How is the treatment?

Personalized evaluation

At Infinium, before doing your first treatment, we want to know you personally. Each person is unique and can experience the effects of aging differently. Personalized evaluation is used to determine your actual needs and associated costs.

Photographs

It is important to take pictures before and after the end of the treatments. Taking photos allows you to correctly visualize the areas to be processed. In addition, it is the most effective way for you to see the changes made. At Infinium, your satisfaction is priority.

We can also offer you 3D imaging.

The treatment

On the skin, the plasma vaporizes the cells and all that remains is carbon in the form of a crust. This crust heals, leaving the treated skin behind. In addition to vaporizing – or “sublimating” – unwanted skin, it has the triple effect of tightening the remaining tissue and increasing collagen production

After a PlexR treatment

The face may be inflamed. Before you leave, a soothing gel and sunscreen are applied to the treated areas. A follow-up is done with you the next day to make sure everything goes well. Swelling of the face and/or eyes is common and usually begins to decrease on the third day after treatment.

Days following treatment

The healing time varies depending on the person, but in general you can expect the following: Face 5 to 10 days (depending on the type of treatment). Swelling of the face and/or eyes is common and usually begins to decrease on the third day after treatment.

Sleeping with your head elevated can help reduce swelling. Almost everyone experiences itching, which can range from mild to intense. Itching usually lasts a few days or until the area begins to peel. It’s really important not to rip out the crusts.
